Anxiety is very common when it comes to thunder, lightning and other stressors in your pet's life. Here are some helpful tips and product suggestions to help your pets cope better with anxiety:

Anticipate when the weather is about to get bad and prepare a safe space for your pet. We recommend keeping them in a separate room with windows and blinds closed.

  • Play soothing music for your pet such as classical, it can help them feel at ease.
  • Wrap them in a blanket or use a thundershirt to help with anxiety. Thundershirts work similar to swaddling a baby. It helps them feel calm and relaxed in a stressful situation.
  • Keep them occupied with long lasting chews such as marrow bones, tracheas, bully sticks, antlers (we have lots to choose from). You can also try a puzzle toy for added stimulation.
  • Try CBD oil or treats, they work great for various scenarios like separation anxiety, thunder, reactivity and car sickness. We have a great selection of high quality CBD products such as Pet Releaf and Holistic hound and Charlotte's Web.
  • Give your pet a massage, just like in humans it releases endorphins and promote a sense of serenity and calmness.

Be on the look out for great classes to help you deal with your pet's separation anxiety, especially those pets struggling with their owners going back to work.
